Jacquie was a member of Matthew Bourne's Adventures in Motion Pictures and performed in Nutcracker and Highland Fling and was in the original cast of Swan Lake and Cinderella with performances at Sadler’s Wells and The Piccadilly Theatre, London, Broadway in New York, Los Angeles and UK tours. She has also performed at The Edinburgh Festival acting and singing with TAG theatre company, Glasgow, as well as Vienna Festival Ballet, Scottish Dance Theatre and Scottish Ballet Steps out to name but a few.

Her dance teaching has included working at London Contemporary Dance School, the Royal College of Music, Scottish Ballet Steps Out, Coventry University, Birmingham Royal Ballet Education Unit, DanceXchange (Birmingham), Warwickshire Education Authority (as a Top Dance Instructor), New Adventures Company and Gorseinon College (Wales). Teaching has included both ballet and contemporary techniques (including Graham, Cunningham, Limone and Release techniques).

She currently teaches adult ballet and contemporary dance, establishing her own Silver Swans ballet school for the over 55’s after getting her Silver Swans license from the Royal Academy of Dance in 2018.

As well as studio and Zoom classes and workshops, Jacquie also does freelance teaching including working recently for Fitzgraham Academy of Dance, Yama Dance Group and Mendip Dance.
